Summer ID Photo Day (If Needed)

Hello Academy families!!!!!
We are inching closer to August and starting to think about the start of school...(pause for cries of outrage 😉)!  I'm in no way trying to rush your summer, but did want to make ourselves available regarding ID's for the 2026-2027 school year.  All students are expected to wear their ID's on the first day of school.

If you are a new student to the program or you lost your ID from last year, we will be hosting an ID Picture Day on Tuesday, AUGUST 18TH, from 10am - 12pm. This is separate from YEARBOOK PICTURES which will be on September 14th during school.

Your first ID for the program is FREE (same as all secondary buildings), and any replacement at any time from the summer throughout the year costs $5.00.  A cost of a new lanyard is $2.00.

We will provide your first lanyard for free as well.  Students can wear their own lanyards PROVIDED THEY ARE THE SAFETY BREAKAWAY ONES and are school appropriate.  Should your student have trouble wearing a lanyard due to skin sensitivity or sensory concerns, you can purchase a clip on ID clear badge holder that must be worn on the upper body and visible at all times.  Ones that hang from a belt or belt loop are not ok as ID's need to be displayed on the upper body for safety reasons.
 
Students are required to wear ID's at the Academy and there will be Robo Calls sent out this year to households when a student forgets theirs at home.
