We’d like to thank Chris Vaccaro for coming in today and sharing his story with the students and staff at The Academy.
Chris spoke on a plethora of experiences in and out of Sachem but focused on a few key points. He encouraged students to be proud of who they are, where they come from, what they represent, and always work hard to achieve their goals. Being driven and committed to your goals is a key factor in being successful in life! Lastly, he stressed what a special place Sachem is as a whole, and what a special place the Academy is as well.
The students were a fantastic audience and had a lot of great questions as Mr. Vaccaro has worked in all areas from The VP of News 12, to a professor at Hofstra, to the Suffolk Hall Of Fame, to the Italian Professional Baseball Association among others!
We hope to have him in again!
